French car maker Renault suspected of emissions fraud

Renault, the French carmaker, faced facing allegations of cheating on emissions in the spring of 2017. The French consumer fraud agency DGCCRF accused Renault of fitting its diesel vehicles with software that allowed them to get around legal emissions limits for more than 25 years.
