EurActiv published an article on the 28 July 2014 from Gilbert Granjon who is co-founder of the Josefa Foundation, founded to address, with other actors, the refugee reception crisis in Europe.

He stated that Freedom of movement was one of the main achievements of the EU. And raised the question why it didn't apply to refugees living in Europe. He urged that a mutual recognition of countries' asylum decisions was needed.
