France sets pensions reform deadline

Nicolas Sarkozy fired the starting gun for unpopular pensions reform on the 15 February 2010. The French President set a tight deadline for one of the most challenging reforms since his election in 2007, saying his government would present a draft bill on changes to the pensions system in September 2010.
