Four years on, Europeans seek dialogue with Syria

According to EurActiv, some European countries which withdrew their ambassadors from Syria at the start of the Syrian crisis, were saying in the backstage it was time for more communication with Damascus, even though the United Kingdom and France oppose it.

While these countries state the Syrian president lost all his legitimacy, other European states defend closer relations with Syria's government.
