The Foreign trade Association (FTA) is a European federation based in Brussels which represents mainly the importing European trading sector. The members of FTA are partly national trade associations and partly individual firms, mainly major retail companies. The mission of the FTA is to fight for a free world trade and the liberal development and strengthening of the multilateral trading system within the framework of the World Trade Organisation (WTO). |
