Finland's new Prime Minister, Alexander Stubb, might face a coalition split over plans for Russian firm Rosatom to build a nuclear reactor.

Sources from the Green Party, a junior coalition party, confirmed to EUObserver that they would leave the coalition should Stubb's cabinet approve the proposal on the 18 September 2014.

If the Greens abandon Mr Stubb, it would leave his government with just a 101 seats in the 200-seat parliament.
