Fifth round of negotiations between Cuba and the EU over a Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement

The fifth round of negotiations between Cuba and the European Union regarding the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement was held in September 2015. Media reported that an overall agreement was unlikely to happen before the deadline, in December 2015.

Negotiating directives leading to these negotiations were adopted by the Council of the European Union in February 2014. Formal talks started in April 2014. The fourth round of negotiations took place in June 2015.
