Fact Check: do 89% of businesses really support Remain?

The Britain Stronger in Europe campaign uses prominently a survey conducted by the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE), which found that 89% of member businesses were opposed to a UK exit from the EU, while only 7% were in favour. The claim is regularly repeated by voices on the Remain side as evidence of the economic damage that a Brexit would cause. So is this claim, or interpretation, accurate?
