European support for Nato rises

Report of the 2008 edition of the annual Transatlantic Trends survey. The survey was carried out in June 2008 in eleven European countries, the US and Turkey. This year’s findings include data on the November 2008US Presidential election, Russia as a threat to stability, attitudes toward continued reconstruction in Afghanistan, support for NATO, perceptions of various global threats, and attitudes about Turkey from Americans, Europeans, and Turks.
