European Security and Defence: Setting a Future Agenda

This is a summary of a workshop held on 9 November 2011 at Chatham House.

The event, held in conjunction with Istituto Affari Internazionali and with the support of Finmeccanica, explored different perspectives on Europe, assessing the EU’s strengths and weaknesses and asking where Europe should position itself on security and defence.
