Members of the European Parliament's Palestine delegation visited Jerusalem and the West Bank on 20-24 February 2017. During the visit, these MEPs urged the European Union and its member states to recognise the Palestinian statehood, considering that the Israeli-Palestinian peace process was at a critical juncture. They also discussed Israeli government's decision to retroactively legalise settlements illegally built on Palestinian land. |
