European Parliament hosts EU space workshop

One of the major themes of the Galileo-GMES-SatCom Workshop held at the European Parliament in Brussels in May 2011 and attended by representatives of the European Parliament, the European Commission and the European GNSS Agency (GSA), was public perception of satellite navigation. A new report, published by the European Space Policy Institute (ESPI), called 'Views on public perception and international aspects of the European space flagship programmes Galileo/EGNOS and GMES', was presented at the workshop.
