The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), in February 2012, published the operating procedures of the European Legionnaires’ Disease Surveillance Network (ELDSNet). The objective of this document is to offer to European Member States a standardised approach to reporting cases, as well as detecting and responding to clusters of travel-associated Legionnaires’ disease (TALD).
