European industry warned of worsening water shortages

A report, 'Climate Change and the European Water Dimension', published by the European Union on 22 March 2005 warns that European industry will be damaged by increasing competition for scarce water resources. According to the report, worsening water shortages will affect some parts of Europe as a result of climate change.
