European Community finances: Statement on the 2006 EC budget and measures to counter fraud and financial mismanagement

This Statement is the twenty-sixth in the series. It describes the EC Budget for 2006 as adopted by the European Parliament; and sets out the United Kingdom’s gross and net contributions to the EC Budget over the years 2000 to 2005, together with an estimate for 2006. It also includes details of recent developments in EC financial management and the fight against fraud.
