On 24 April 2002 the European Commission decided to fund two NGO projects worth €2.58 million in support of primary school aged children in North Maluku Province, Indonesia, where education has been disrupted by conflict, violence and displacement. The projects will be implemented over three years by Save the Children (UK) (€1,720,000) and World Vision Deutschland (€860,000). |
