European Commission Representation site brightened up, October 2005

Facelifts seem to be in fashion at the moment as, like the European Parliament, the website of the Commission Representation in the UK has also undergone an update to give it a brighter and more modern style. The new look incorporates too the change in the Head of Office with the appointment in July of Reijo Kempinnen. The structure of the site remains much the same though navigation is easier with the mouse over effect dropped. The overall impression of the site is clear and straightforward to use and the new fonts and colours make it easier to read. Nor has the content been compromised. All the old favourites such as Euromyths and Press Watch are still accessible and there are helpful links on a range of topics. Work has been done on the local contacts section to update it and make it more comprehensive.
