European Commission intensifies charm offensive to court startups

The Committee of the Regions hosted on 1 October 2015 an event to launch the Startup Europe Region Network (SERN), a project which aims at bringing together StartUp Europe projects and representatives from EU regions committed to start up support.

Startup Europe, the European Commission's division dedicated to startup companies, was set up under former Digital Commissioner Neelie Kroes.
