Europe minister to join EU reform assembly

Peter Hain, the UK's Minister for Europe, will be the UK government's representative on the 100-strong convention to consider how the European Union should reform itself when ten new Member States join in 2004. The first meeting of the convention will be in Brussels on 28 February 2002.
