Europe Direct aims to provide easy access to European information. A new call centre opened in April 2000 which provides citizens with free telephone access, a direct e-mail response service and links to other information and advice facilities. The centre is based in Brussels, is accessible in all official EU languages and is able to handle up to 25,000 enquiries a month. |
