During May 2005 EUR-Lex was upgraded, adding some new features and correcting some errors in the system. However while users may have noticed some small benefits to the functionality, this was counterbalanced by some instability causing problems for users. Nor has the upgrade yet delivered some of the key developments that users have been asking for. It is for example now possible to use characters such as parentheses and slashes to identify complex document references precisely - though the default search will produce both the basic document and any corrections - but national implementing measures have not yet been loaded. However the good news is that these references are promised soon. Watch this space! |
