The 2011 EU-Washington Forum took place on 27-28 October 2011, in Washington DC. In the build up to the Forum, the European Union Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) invited a handful of prominent journalists, think tankers, policy makers and experts to take place in an online debate about the roles of the US, the EU and the international community in the Arab uprisings of 2011.
