EU warned over new fund rules threat

Twenty big fund managers warned in July 2012 that controversial rules proposed by the European Commission to implement the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD)threatened to sharply increase costs for ordinary investors and undermine the single market in the EU.
