EU under fire for attaching strings to aid

Aid agencies and recipient governments have attacked European Union proposed rules for receiving European Development Fund aud after 2008, claiming that the EU is seeking to wield its financial muscle to strong-arm poor countries into co-operation on migration and terrorism.
