EU-Ukraine relations ‘running out of runway’: Official

David O'Sullivan, the chief operating officer of the European External Action Service, said that time is short for Kyiv to make tangible reforms ahead of the November Vilnius summit, and in the meantime the EU-Ukraine relationship is 'slowly running out of runway'.

The EUObserver reported on the 7 June 2103 that Viktor Yushchenko, a former president of Ukraine, accuses Russia of lobbying him to join the Russia-led 'Eurasian Union,' a new trade body, in a development that would destroy prospects of EU-Ukraine integration which he pretends to rather opt for.
