EU trade pressure on poor nations criticised

The European Commission's plans for Economic Partnership Agreements with ACP countries come under criticism from various NGOs and academic groups. However, the European Commission argues that some deals are now ready for signing and that to comply with WTO rules there is no alternative to the EPAs.
