EU set to address sugar difficulties

After a couple of distinctly unpleasant-tasting years for European sugar refiners, the EU’s sugar mountain could soon disappear. Reform of the EU’s sugar regime at last looks set to balance supply and demand for the commodity in the union and refiners quietly hope they can begin to rebuild profitability.
