A study carried out for the European Commission by Danish consultancy Copenhagen Economics claims that the proposed Directive on Services in the Internal Market would boost employment in all Member States, raise productivity and reduce prices for consumers. The study provides a strong defence of the draft law, which has come under heavy attack from France and Germany.
