Frontier controls on counterfeit goods. The Commission has produced a report on the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No.3295/94 as regards border controls on trade in goods which may be counterfeited or pirated. The Commission proposes to extend the scope of the Regulation to cover a new intellectual property right, on patents on products and supplementary protection certificates (SPCs) for medicinal and plant-protection products.
