Financial services: Collective investment undertakings. The Commission has adopted proposals to promote investor confidence and ensure a pan-European market for collective investment undertakings (such as unit trusts and SICA Vs). The proposals would amend existing Directive 85/611/EEC on Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities (UCITS) and bring it in line with new practices.
