EU lays out plan to revitalise industry

European Union proposals to revitalise manufacturing in the 27-country bloc are scheduled to be unveiled in Brussels in October 2010. Draft proposals include plans to improve access to finance, especially for smaller businesses, and legislation to make the setting of industry standards quicker and more efficient.
