EU international transactions. Data 1990-2000

Reference publication giving the most recent portrait (2000) of EU international transactions. It covers mainly international exchanges (exports and imports) in services (47 items) and other balance of payments items, including goods, income received on capital invested abroad or paid on foreign capital invested in EU territory; salaries earned abroad by EU residents or salaries paid to non-residents in EU territory; and current transfers such as international aid and migrant workers' remittances. The publication emphasises the EU's geographical trading partners (50). Comparison with the USA and Japan is provided.
