EU ignores pension statistics protest

Protests by nine European Union countries in August 2010 that other EU member states are failing to take their exposure to pension liabilities into their national statistics got short shrift at the Ecofin Coucil in September 2010 avoided discussing the matter: neither did they set a date for future dialogue.
