EU funding hits major target

Wales is marking a major milestone September 2009 as it reaches its target of investing 50% of European funding available to the region - almost £1 billion - as part of a seven year drive to boost the Welsh economy and create jobs - Deputy First Minister, Ieuan Wyn Jones, has announced.
