	Abstract: This report illustrates in detail the relationship between trade and employment for the EU as a whole and for each EU Member State, using the recently released Eurostat’s FIGARO database, jointly compiled by Eurostat and Joint Research Centre (JRC). Furthermore, the analysis will complement this information with detailed data on employment by industry, skill and gender using other complementary employment statistics. All indicators relate to EU exports to the world to reflect the scope of EU external trade policymaking.
