This consultation seeks views on the development of the National Allocation Plan for Phase II of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme (EU ETS), including questions on whether the UK should extend the Scheme to other installations and how allocations to UK operators should be calculated. This phase of the EU ETS will run from 2008 until 2012 and coincides with the first Kyoto commitment period. Deadline for responses to Part A: 13 September 2005. Deadline for responses to Part B: 27 September 2005. |
