EU countries singled out for misguided healthcare budget cuts

Report from the annual conference of the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA), Brussels, 4-5 September 2013 'Brave New World: Inclusive Growth and Well-Being or Vested Interests and Lost Generations?'

Between 2008 and 2011, 17 out of the EU’s 28 member states had cut their public spending on healthcare due to austerity policies, delegates heard at the conference.
