DG IB of the Commission has issued a call for proposals to choose a town or local authority which will be invited to put forward a proposal for setting up, co-ordinating and co-financing the activities of a network of towns, regions and other local and regional authorities on the theme of 'Urban environment', thematic network No.6; Management and control of urbanisation, network No.7; urban mobility, network No.8.
