The European Constitution was signed on 29 October 2004 at a ceremony in Rome, but before it can be adopted it must be ratified by all 25 EU Member States, either through a referendum or by vote in the national parliament. This feature helps you find out how each country will try to ratify the constitution, and what issues are most important to their voters. You can also find out the results of a Eurobarometer poll, which asked participants in each country to respond to the statement: "The European Union must adopt a constitution."
