EU Commissioner Viviane Reding backs Bulgarian protests

The EU's Justice Commissioner Viviane Reding backed anti-government protests in Bulgaria at a 'Citizen's Dialogue' debate in Sofia on 23 July 2013.

The Commissioner held a question-and-answer session in Sofia, during which participants 'expressed anger at their government, complained of economic hardship and corruption and urged Ms Reding to help reform their country, the poorest EU member state.'
