EU ‘cannot cut farm tariffs further’

The EU's Ambassador to Washington, John Bruton, says the EU has gone as far as it can in offering to reduce tariffs on its agricultural imports, making it clear to the US and other trading partners that they cannot expect the European Commission to resolve the breakdown in the Doha Round of trade talks.
