EU and Russia near ‘early warning’ gas pact

Article reports that Russia and the European Union are likely to sign an agreement that would obligate the parties to provide more advance notice in the event of likely disruptions to gas supplies.

The agreement to enhance the so-called 'early warning system' was signed at in Moscow on the 16 November 2009.
