EU among donor groups suspending aid to Mozambique over hidden debt

Portugal's president announced on 4 May 2016 that donor nations and institutions that contribute to Mozambique's state budget, including the European Union, had decided to temporarily suspend their support over revelations of $1.4 billion in hidden debt.
