The European Union has voted to outlaw tobacco advertising in newspapers and magazines, on the internet and at international sports events. European Commissioner Byrne welcomed the political agreement on cigarettes advertising ban and smoking prevention measures made at the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council l, 2 December 2002. |
