Statement by a spokesperson from the French Department of Foreign Affairs, concerning the attendance by the French Minister for European Affairs, Noëlle Lenoir, at the General Affairs Council in Brussels on 10 December 2002. At this Council, she called for a realistic approach from applicant countries in order to ensure the success of the forthcoming Copenhagen Summit.
