Enterprise first: Getting business to drive the training agenda

With increasing awareness that more needs to be done to realise the potential of human capital in the competitiveness drive, experts from the EU’s pre-accession region met in Turin on 16-17 September 2008, to determine how enterprises can be better engaged into training developments. Experts from Croatia, Montenegro and Kosovo, which have already taken first steps to have enterprises more directly engaged in defining their own training needs, shared their policy know-how with other countries participating in the meeting: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia and Serbia.
