Summary: This is the fifth enhanced surveillance report on Greece monitoring the commitments made by the Greek government at the Eurogroup in June 2018. Further information: This report concludes that Greece has progressed well in implementing its specific reform commitments for end-2019. The supplementary measures that are being implemented or announced by the government should allow for their completion in time for the sixth enhanced surveillance report scheduled for May 2020. This requires continuous engagement of the Greek authorities in particular in the financial sector, where significant further action is needed. This report was published on 26 February 2020 as part of the 2020 European Semester Winter Package. It was also released as a European Commission's Communication - COM(2020)100. |
