Energy performance of buildings

This study aims to provide input into ongoing discussions on the recasting of the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD). It focuses on the current status of implementation of the EPBD, the impacts of the Directive, and looks at a number best practise cases. The study also analyses a number of remaining key issues, linkages to other policies, and relates this to the recast of the EPBD as proposed by the Commission. The study makes a number of recommendations for future development.
