Energy efficiency indicators. Data 1990-1999

This publication contains the priority energy efficiency indicators by sector: macro, households, services, industry, transport and transformation sectors, for EU-15, the Member States and Norway. It responds to the Commissions' Communication COM/2000/247 (Action Plan to improve energy efficiency in the European Community) to the Council, the European Parliament, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions, where the European Commission invites Eurostat and the Member States to work closely together on the development of energy efficiency indicators.
