Energy balance sheets – data 1999-2000. 2002 edition

The current publication, which is exclusively devoted to the global energy balance sheets, presents, for the years 1999 and 2000, the balance sheets expressed in specific units and in tonnes of oil equivalent for each of the Member States and for the European Union as a whole. The balance sheets have been constructed according to the methodology for `supplied energy balances', where all the operations are harmonised on the basis of the energy content of each source and form of energy, without any hypothetical substitution, nor any calculation of equivalence.
